Our core mission is the commitment to service and care of our community. At our teaching hospitals we care for the highest risk and most vulnerable populations amongst a diverse community in Los Angeles.
We provide experiences at four teaching sites – Los Angeles General Medical Center (LAGMC), Keck Hospital of USC, Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center, and Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles.
Dedicated fellow continuity clinic at Los Angeles General Medical Center where fellows provide longitudinal care for patients over two years of training.
The educational experience is reinforced by a didactic curriculum, weekly conferences and journal clubs, and an integrated board review.
Scholarly activity is promoted through dedicated time and close mentorship with faculty members with multiple opportunities for research.
Fellows are encouraged to attend and present scientific findings at the annual scientific meeting of the American College of Rheumatology (ACR).
